Foods That Will Keep You Energized During The Workday

If you find yourself feeling sluggish during the workday, consider this: have you been eating the right foods? If you’re not sure, don’t worry. Most people grab whatever they have available or what they find in the communal fridge…stop stealing your coworker’s snacks! You may feel full after downing that fast-food burger, but honestly, do you feel good? We didn’t think so. We’ve compiled a list of the best energizing foods that you can take to work. Don’t be afraid to snack on them throughout the day. It’s good to eat multiple small meals instead of one large meal. It’s easier on digestion, and will keep you energized well after clocking out.

Trail Mix

Healthy fats and proteins are great energy boosters. Trail mix is customizable, but make sure you get some of the basics in there, such as nuts, raisins, and dark chocolate. This snack is portable and easy to hide during important meetings. Pour it in a cup and set it on your desk, so you can access it all day long.

Nuts
